Database Architect

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience with AWS (preferred), GCP or Azure.
• 10+ years of experience in designing, building and supporting real-time data pipelines.
• Experience with Postgres, Redshift, BigQuery, Hadoop, Teradata, MS SQL Server, Talend, Informatica, Powerbi and/or SSIS.
• 10+ years using object-oriented programming languages such as .Net, Java, or Python.
• 10+ years in transforming business requirements into data models using Erwin.
• Experience with delivering solutions in agile teams.
• 10+ years in developing Master Data Management (MDM) solutions.
• 8+ years on public cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud.
• Experience with automated testing for data interfaces and pipelines.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Integrate multiple databases such as Snowflake schema, Star schema, and Network model.
• Work with message buses like Kafka and IBM MQ for targets including Redshift and MongoDB.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define future-state business capabilities and translate them into data architectures.
• Analyze the current tech environment to detect deficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Design and implement data services and real-time data pipelines using emerging technologies.
• Develop CI/CD for data pipelines, including automated testing.
• Advocate for agile practices and mentor the team to achieve goals.
