- 5+ years of experience as a technical writer, preferably in enterprise software or customer communications management (CCM) solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Familiarity with documentation for APIs, software development kits (SDKs), and technical systems
- Strong understanding of content management tools (e.g., Paligo MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, or similar)
- Knowledge of programming concepts or languages is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt content for various audiences
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A proactive and collaborative mindset, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams
- Create, edit, and maintain user guides, technical manuals, online help systems, and API documentation
- Translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand content for diverse audiences, including developers, end-users, and administrators
- Work closely with product managers, developers, QA engineers, and support teams to gather information and understand product functionality and use
- Structure documentation to improve usability and accessibility while ensuring content is up-to-date and compliant with internal standards and industry guidelines
- Use documentation tools and content management systems to develop and publish technical content
- Review and proofread documentation for accuracy, consistency, and adhere to style guidelines
- Conduct usability testing of documentation with internal teams or customers to identify improvement areas
