Field Service Specialist - Electrical Heat Tracing

Requirements:

• Ideally 5+ years of previous experience in delivering product/technical training or working with power distribution, heat tracing, or industrial applications.
• Validated experience as an electrical technician or electrician with knowledge of electrical systems and equipment.
• Journeyman electrician license or equivalent certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity for tasks requiring bending, kneeling, lifting to 50lbs, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
• Proficient in English and French preferred.
• Experience resolving product installation issues with end customers.
• Knowledge of governing bodies (NEC, IEC, IEEE) concerning products.

Responsibilities:

• Assist sales and clients on technical, procedural, and commercial needs to ensure reliable performance and customer satisfaction.
• Represent nVent in engineering design discussions with clients and sub-contractors.
• Resolve reported failures within the warranty period and support customers for failures outside the warranty period.
• Organize parties to resolve warranty cases as needed.
• Provide product training to partners and installers, including product orientation for potential installers.
• Ensure adherence to installation instructions by installers.
• Write technical and field reports.
• Operate in variable working environments, often requiring protective safety equipment.
