Requirements:
  • An ideal candidate has a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Business, Communication, Finance, Economics, or a relevant field.
  • 2-4+ years of relevant experience in Business Development (sales) in the hospitality industry or with a SaaS company.
  • A wide network within the travel industry in Australia.
  • Comfortable navigating software and conducting webinars/tutorials.
  • Proven experience delivering live and virtual presentations and seminars.
  • A focused 'hunter' mentality for finding and driving new business.
  • An open and direct communication style with a consultative approach.
  • Experience with SalesForce or other CRM systems.
  • High level of diplomacy and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
Responsibilities:
  • As a hunter, you source potential client opportunities via cold calling, email campaigns, and through professional industry networks.
  • Respond to incoming product inquiries, referrals, and leads in a timely manner, formatting tailored proposals.
  • Organize product demonstrations and advanced training sessions.
  • Generate new sales by upselling products based on client needs.
  • Negotiate contracts while balancing service, client value, and profit margins.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to build and execute a business development plan to achieve targets.
  • Attend meetings, conferences, and organize regional road shows.
  • Act as the liaison between clients and the Product Development team to provide feedback.
  • Track efforts in the CRM system and achieve KPIs.
