- 2-4+ years of relevant experience in Business Development within the hospitality sector or a SaaS company.
- Strong network within the travel industry in Australia.
- Comfortable with navigating software and conducting webinars/tutorials.
- Proven experience in delivering live and virtual presentations.
- Focused 'hunter' mentality for driving new business.
- Open and direct communication style with a consultative approach.
- Experience with SalesForce or other CRM systems.
- High level of diplomacy and strong interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Source potential client opportunities via cold calling, email campaigns, and professional networks.
- Respond to all incoming product inquiries, referrals, and leads effectively.
- Organize product demonstrations and advanced training sessions.
- Track existing clients and generate new sales through upselling based on client needs.
- Negotiate contracts while balancing service value and profit margins.
- Help build and adjust the sales team's vision and execute a business development plan.
- Attend meetings and conferences, and organize regional roadshows as needed.
- Provide client feedback to the Product Development team.
