Requirements:
  • 5+ years of payroll experience.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, human resource management, or a similar field.
  • Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) heavily desired.
  • Experience with public companies and equity.
  • Knowledge in administering deductions, garnishments, FSAs, HSAs, retirement plans, and benefits contributions.
  • Experience with quarterly audits and year-end reconciliations.
  • Ability to run multi-state payroll and create reports.
  • Highly proficient in Payroll software ADP Workforce Now.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with labor legislation and federal tax laws.
  • Ability to work ethically with employee-sensitive information.
  • Good interpersonal skills and teamwork capabilities.
Responsibilities:
  • Processes bi-weekly multi-State payroll, including collection of timesheet data and processing New Hires & Terminations.
  • Reviews, audits, and makes corrections to Timecard data before preparing it for imports.
  • Ensures timely processing and approval of timesheets.
  • Handles new hires, state-to-state movements, terminations, status changes, and other payroll adjustments.
  • Maintains confidentiality and accuracy of payroll records.
  • Liaises with HR on payroll issues.
  • Validates New Hire Tax Setup.
  • Processes monthly Stock Vesting's and Exercises.
  • Provides efficient service to employees on payroll inquiries.
  • Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Actively participates in payroll-related system implementations.
  • Supports the Director of Payroll and Payroll Manager.
