- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of local regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Recognized professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated expertise in regulatory compliance and local tax, payment, or accounting standards.
- Proven experience in a client-facing role with strong communication skills.
- Strong technical acumen in local accounting, tax and payment regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Fluency in local language and English is required.
- Provide in-depth technical support to the GBS team on complex issues related to accounting, payroll, and HR services.
- Act as the expert on local regulations ensuring GBS operations are compliant.
- Review changes in regulations and advise the team accordingly.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of deliverables via regular audits.
- Serve as a point of contact for client inquiries, providing expert responses.
- Support onboarding of new client services, ensuring compliance.
- Conduct training sessions on local regulatory updates.
