- Bachelor’s degree in a business, scientific or healthcare discipline or alternate combination of education and experience.
- 12 years or more experience in CRO/pharmaceutical industry, including Director level, with a proven track record.
- Ability to drive and availability for domestic and international travel.
- Preferred: 1-year corporate management experience, postgraduate qualification in relevant discipline, and experience in oncology, rare disease, neurology, or central nervous system.
- Designing and implementing a sales plan focused on securing new and repeat business from biotech and pharmaceutical companies.
- Identifying leads and conducting meetings with prospective clients, securing RFPs, and collaborating with the Business Operations/Proposal Team.
- Coordinating with the Leadership Team to leverage expertise for securing new business.
- Representing the company at trade shows and client-sponsored events.
- Working with Marketing to design a program supporting sales efforts.
- Building and maintaining relationships with partner organizations.
- Updating Salesforce and providing metric-driven reporting.
- Maintaining close contact with key sponsors to meet client expectations.
- Meeting regularly with the Vice President to ensure consistent messaging and action paths.
