Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business, scientific or healthcare discipline or alternate combination of education and experience.
  • 12 years or more experience in CRO/pharmaceutical industry, including Director level, with a proven track record.
  • Ability to drive and availability for domestic and international travel.
  • Preferred: 1-year corporate management experience, postgraduate qualification in relevant discipline, and experience in oncology, rare disease, neurology, or central nervous system.
Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing a sales plan focused on securing new and repeat business from biotech and pharmaceutical companies.
  • Identifying leads and conducting meetings with prospective clients, securing RFPs, and collaborating with the Business Operations/Proposal Team.
  • Coordinating with the Leadership Team to leverage expertise for securing new business.
  • Representing the company at trade shows and client-sponsored events.
  • Working with Marketing to design a program supporting sales efforts.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with partner organizations.
  • Updating Salesforce and providing metric-driven reporting.
  • Maintaining close contact with key sponsors to meet client expectations.
  • Meeting regularly with the Vice President to ensure consistent messaging and action paths.

  • Updating Salesforce and other metrics tracking software for reporting.
  • Providing feedback on pricing, competitiveness, and market conditions.
  • Maintaining contact with key Sponsor personnel to ensure that client expectations are met or exceeded.
