Revenue Accountant

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Availability to work full time in EST, CST, or PST time zone.
• A minimum of 4-5 years of experience as an accountant.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• High-speed Wi-Fi connection at home.
• Must not have had any disciplinary actions regarding attendance, conduct, or performance in the past 90 days.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the company’s revenue recording process, including monthly accruals and reconciliations.
• Prepare reconciliations and maintain schedules for balance sheet accounts including cash, accounts receivable, prepaid expenses, and intercompany accounts.
• Reconcile company bank accounts.
• Support the company’s monthly financial close process.
• Manage payments for state sales tax and recycling fees.
• Manage supplier rebate tracking.
• Oversee a Staff Accountant and accounting clerk.
• Assist in maintaining policies and procedures for collections.
• Liaise with internal and external parties as necessary.
• Assist the Controller with research, analysis, and reporting projects.
• Train new support staff as needed.
