Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience as a Fullstack Engineer.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of JavaScript/Typescript and willingness to learn Vue.
  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, BEM standard and responsive design.
  • Strong knowledge of at least one backend language (Ruby is advantageous).
  • Thorough knowledge of designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SQL and database management.
  • Experience with automated testing, Jest, Cypress, and behavior-driven development tools like RSpec.
  • Familiarity with caching tools like Redis and Memcached.
  • Understanding of functional and object-oriented programming.
  • General knowledge of Git, Webpack, Babel, and evolving development technologies.
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Ability to write secure, efficient, clear code.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop the next generation of Storyblok's customer-facing products and features using modern frontend frameworks.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the plugins ecosystem from both frontend and backend perspectives.
  • Improve performance of APIs and optimize database queries.
  • Implement automated testing in development workflows.
  • Continuously test, optimize, and update applications for security, performance, and reliability.
  • Share knowledge of the code base with colleagues and contribute to documentation.
  • Quickly fix bugs and solve customer problems.
  • Work closely with product owners and designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
  • Assist teammates in overcoming obstacles and completing tasks.
