Senior Software Developer in Test

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in QA and UAT of web software applications
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, best practices and QA processes
• Strong knowledge of test automation technologies and tools
• Strong knowledge of Python and JavaScript development
• Knowledge and experience with CI/CD processes would be considered an asset
• Strong communication skills, as well as demonstrated experience managing others
• Knowledge of common web application security vulnerabilities and experience with application security testing would be considered an asset

Responsibilities:

• Manage Test Automation at CoLab, including all test planning, preparation and execution activities - including infrastructure, tooling and process
• Work with the Product Team to develop user story tests and user acceptance tests
• Implement various automated testing tools and technologies to develop, debug, execute and maintain complex automated test cases
• Own the entire release testing lifecycle (e.g. integration, business acceptance, performance, operability, deployment verification)
• Prioritize testing tasks, ensure milestones, activities, tasks are completed as scheduled
• Coordinate code deployments, maintenance upgrades and project testing across numerous environments on various technology platforms
• Participate in audit reviews to ensure test artifacts and processes meet necessary standards and compliance requirements
• Provide mentorship and training on Quality Assurance to the entire company
