  • Experience operating as an executive and contributing to overall company strategy.
  • Experience leading and developing remote or off-shore engineering teams.
  • Experience collaborating with Product Management and contributing to product strategy.
  • Full understanding of the product life cycle.
  • Experience scaling consumer internet or marketplace businesses is a bonus.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead our distributed engineering team and take responsibility for all aspects of technology strategy, software development, infrastructure, security, and data.
  • Develop the strategic direction for the team, including hiring plans and organizational structure.
  • Create a performance-based culture focused on initiative, urgency, and value creation.
  • Mentor engineering leaders in cross-functional execution and pragmatic decision-making.
