🔍 Taste, scent, and nutrition

  • Bachelor’s degree in Customs, International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of customs and excise procedures in the EMEA region, preferably in Germany.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international trading, and import/export regulations.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in customs operations.
  • Experience with SAP-GTS or similar system functionalities including e-customs.
  • Fluent in English for both verbal and written communications.
  • Effective communication in German for both written and verbal communications.

  • Ensure customs compliancy (AEO and customs licenses) for major production sites in Europe.
  • Support local and EMEA business on customs and trade issues and opportunities.

  • Lead disciplined import and export operations using correct systems and processes, conduct self-audit programs.
  • Monitor, track and report customs and savings metrics.
  • Drive cost savings from FTAs, duty incentives and other programs.
  • Act as customs & trade specialist for resolving operational disputes, identifying root causes and setting action plans.
