- Minimum of 2 yearsβ experience providing client-facing customer support including troubleshooting technical problems.
- Significant experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL, including stored procedures.
- Understanding or experience in relational and OLAP databases; knowledge of different types of databases.
- Experience with SQL Server (2016+), MongoDB, and cloud technologies like BigQuery, CloudSQL.
- Proficient in ETL tools or development of ETL components.
- Understanding of data pipelines with multi-step transformations.
- Exposure to GCP toolset including Big Query and Airflow/Composer is a plus.
- Solve complex problems and troubleshoot issues quickly.
- Provide superior support to customers and monitor data processing.
- Evaluate new issues based on past experience and escalate when necessary.
- Configure database monitoring utilities to reduce false alarms.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for slow queries.
- Monitor production workflows and take corrective action for errors.
- Perform regular user assurance testing on data and applications.
- Communicate effectively with customers via phone and email.
- Track and follow-up on tasks/issues with attention to detail.
