  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, finance or another related field.
  • 10+ years management level experience in payer enrollment and durable medical equipment (DME) contracting in the medical device industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of payer enrollment regulations and DME contracting processes.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the driving forces in the local, state, and national healthcare markets.
  • Knowledge of State and Federal Healthcare regulations relating to payer contracts, payment guidelines, etc.

  • Develop and execute strategies to establish and enhance relationships with payers, including insurance companies, government agencies, and other third-party payers.
  • Oversee payer contracting to ensure favorable terms and conditions, maximize reimbursement rates, and minimize administrative burdens.
  • Lead in addressing and resolving disputes or issues with payers.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including executive leadership, finance, legal, and operations teams, to align payer strategies with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Keep internal stakeholders informed about payer policies, changes, and updates, ensuring adherence to payer requirements.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to monitor payer contract compliance, track revenue performance, and identify potential financial risks or opportunities.
  • Analyze payer data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
