Requirements:

• 12+ years of aligned experience.
• Strong belief in and advocacy for public charter schools’ ability to prepare all students for success.
• Deep understanding of the intersections of policy, race, gender, religion, and other social justice issues.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment.
• Proven track record of leadership in advocacy for policy change and organizing key constituencies.
• Excellent communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a forward-thinking statewide strategy for regional advocacy campaigns, communications, and membership engagement.
• Provide leadership and direction to Local Advocacy, Communications, and Membership teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Lead advocacy efforts for policies supporting charter schools and educational equity.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders to amplify the voice of charter schools.
• Ensure CCSA understands member needs and lead initiatives to foster member engagement.
• Develop successful communication strategies and campaigns to attract and retain members.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to leverage resources for shared goals.
• Lead change management efforts related to advocacy, communications, and membership.
• Serve as a thought leader in charter school advocacy and policy.
• Establish KPIs and metrics to evaluate effectiveness and impact of initiatives.
