Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Subject Matter Expert in procurement.
• Strong understanding of direct and indirect procurement processes and industry standards.
• Extensive experience with procurement processes in outsourced manufacturing models.
• Proven ability to identify inefficiencies in procurement processes and implement improvements.
• Experience supervising and implementing ERP systems and/or e-procurement platforms.
• Demonstrated experience in a product management role for procurement systems.
• Strong reasoning skills and experience in data analysis.
• Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and enhance Samsara's procurement capabilities for efficiency and industry alignment.
• Supervise the optimization of procurement processes including supplier management and invoice management.
• Collaborate with internal teams like Manufacturing, Supply Chain Operations, and Finance.
• Conduct business investigations for strategic solutions focused on user experience.
• Apply procurement best practices to optimize workflows and reduce costs.
• Facilitate sessions to gather and evaluate business requirements.
• Review process documentation and identify improvement opportunities.
• Work with vendors to identify tools that meet business needs.
• Maintain procurement systems, respond to issues, and coordinate upgrades.
• Champion Samsara’s cultural principles as the company scales.
