Requirements:

• 8+ years of information security experience in a fast-moving, high growth environment.
• 2+ years of engineering team leadership experience.
• Demonstrated track record of building high-quality security programs and cross-functional collaboration.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Ruby, Rails, React, Flutter, GraphQL, TypeScript.
• Understanding of cloud architecture concepts and best practices.
• Bonus points for Terraform experience.
• Relevant security certifications (OSCP, CEH, OSWE).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Application Security engineers, assigning projects and prioritizing tasks.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and with high quality.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, consulting on security requirements.
• Drive security initiatives in the development lifecycle and mentor team members.
• Develop and deliver security training programs for engineering pods.
• Mentor and guide AppSec engineers through one-on-ones and coaching.
• Plan team KPIs and monitor progress.
• Work with engineering on the vulnerability management program.
