Requirements:
  • 5+ years field experience of quota-carrying experience in a fast-paced market focused on new business
  • Ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology

  • Skilled in building business relationships and running complex sales processes
  • Ability to navigate procurement processes and build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g. MEDDPICC, SPIN, Challenger Sales)
  • Familiarity with selling SaaS products, devops, and open source technology
  • High drive, competitive nature, and strong desire to succeed
  • Skilled in managing time and resources with a sound approach to qualifying opportunities
  • Ability to learn quickly and establish credibility; high emotional intelligence and self-awareness
  • Passionate about career growth in the software market and maintaining a deep understanding of Pulumi products
  • Driven to build a business, find and close deals, and focused on customer success

Responsibilities:
  • Close business to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual bookings objectives
  • Proactively prospect, identify, qualify and develop a sales pipeline
  • Evaluate, qualify and convert incoming leads, gathering information and following up with appropriate decision makers
  • Build strong and effective relationships, resulting in growth opportunities
  • Work closely with Customer Success Managers and Professional Services to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Facilitate customer engagements and connect customers to relevant resources
  • Know our products, competitive landscape, and sales pitch to deliver the right messaging
  • Implement improvements to sales processes, tools, and materials
