Requirements:
  • CPA license preferred; graduate degree in accounting or a related field is a plus.
  • 5-10 years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year in a Senior Accountant role.
  • Experience in public accounting or working at publicly traded companies is mandatory.
  • Expertise in revenue recognition (ASC 606), month-end close, GL accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and familiarity with financial data tools.
  • Proven ability to lead process improvement and automation projects.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • SaaS or tech industry experience is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
  • Analyze sales contracts to identify revenue implications and ensure compliance with ASC 606.
  • Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606.
  • Oversee the integrity of the general ledger and manage month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare and review financial statements with variance analysis, ensuring GAAP compliance.
  • Calculate and review sales commissions for accuracy and timely payouts.
  • Support audits by providing documentation and enhancing internal controls.
  • Lead initiatives for process improvement and automation within accounting workflows.
