Requirements:
  • 10+ years of selling consumer goods.
  • 6+ years of selling pet products.

  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the year.
  • Account Management experience with a large retailer.
  • Farm & Feed experience.
  • Experience in the pet specialty channel.
  • Experience with Petco or Petsmart.

Responsibilities:
  • Achieve sales and spending goals within assigned channels and accounts.
  • Create and execute channel level business plans.
  • Lead, motivate and support Account Managers to help them deliver their goals.
  • Create and execute goals with owned accounts.
  • Manage corporate relationships with distributors.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers at key accounts.
  • Work internally across other retail channels to maximize opportunities.
  • Stay on top of industry trends and serve as the voice of the customer.
