Senior Product Designer II, TASER

Requirements:

• 8+ years of product design experience with 2+ years leading major product design initiatives.
• 4+ years experience researching, designing, and shipping complex web applications.
• At least 2 years experience with hardware interaction design.
• Degree in HCI, Human Factors, Interaction Design, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Strong conceptual and visual design skills, with proven rapid prototyping ability.
• Experience applying user-centered design processes at all design stages.
• Familiarity with designing for multiple form factors and modalities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of the latest design tools like Figma and ability to quickly learn new ones.
• Independent and collaborative working capabilities.
• Portfolio demonstrating design and research work.

Responsibilities:

• Lead UX efforts across the TASER product pillar, covering the entire design process.
• Deliver a best-in-class approach to data visualization for TASER applications.
• Identify and lead initiatives to integrate industrial and software designs.
• Collaborate with product managers and researchers in field research.
• Produce artifacts like journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Build alignment and articulate visions through storytelling and presentations.
• Work closely with business, product, and engineering stakeholders.
• Contribute to defining global design patterns and processes.
• Mentor other designers and advocate for design culture.
