Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Law, with a Master's in Business Law preferred.
  • 15 years of experience as in-house legal counsel or in a reputed law firm.
  • Excellent English and proficient in Spanish; other languages are a plus.
  • Proven expertise in corporate governance, commercial and antitrust, labour law, and compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams in a multinational context.
  • Experience working with senior management and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a local team of +40 professionals across 23 markets.
  • Be part of the leadership team, reporting to the CFO and collaborating with senior management.
  • Lead the legal strategy across various domains including Corporate, Labor & Employment, Privacy, Commercial, and Regulatory Law.
  • Evaluate business model risks and implement procedures to mitigate them.
  • Assist operations to comply with internal policies and local regulations.
  • Ensure awareness of best practices among employees.
  • Manage relationships and negotiations with Works Councils.
