Requirements:

• At least 8 years experience in data engineering or similar roles supporting Web Analytics and Marketing.
• Expertise in SQL, especially in cloud environments like Snowflake, Google BigQuery, and Amazon Redshift.
• Experience in designing data engineering solutions and managing project lifecycles.
• Familiarity with ETL scheduling technologies and schema design.
• Working knowledge of Linux/OSX command line and version control software.
• Experience with Python, REST APIs, and Terraform.
• Strong understanding of complex business systems and data architecture.
• Experience with real-time data pipelines using technologies like Kafka.
• Excellent communication skills for technical explanations.

Responsibilities:

• Be the expert on end-to-end data flow for Marketing public web event data.
• Collaborate with upstream engineering teams to ensure accurate site event logging.
• Work with web analytics and SEO teams to develop ETL requirements.
• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines for business reporting.
• Analyze new data sources and integrate them into existing models.
• Participate in on-call rotation and monitor data pipeline execution.
• Assist analytics in interpreting data trends and resolving discrepancies.
• Build and own data import/export pipelines for optimization.
