Requirements:
  • CPA is preferred with a minimum of 2 years of experience with public companies and/or audit firms.
  • Accounting and consolidation knowledge in a multi-currency, multi-site environment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of general ledger functions, account reconciliations, and period-end close process.
  • Demonstrated ability in problem solving and process improvement.
  • High energy with a focus on achieving results and meeting business targets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, consolidate and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and related disclosures prepared under IFRS.
  • Reconcile account balances, maintain the general ledger, and prepare close procedures.
  • Prepare, validate, and review monthly accounting entries and financial reports for accurate analysis.
  • Support implementation of new accounting or reporting requirements and assist during external audits.
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement projects in the financial close process while interacting with different business units and corporate departments.
