Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field strongly desired.
  • Pending degree or proven sales and industry experience may be considered.
  • Basic command of making nutritional and feeding recommendations.
  • Work/life experience in management and care of Cattle and Equine.
  • Competent in providing accurate feeding and management recommendations.
  • Strong computer skills, specifically MS Office, and willingness to learn software like HerdSmart and Salesforce.
Responsibilities:
  • Calling on Cattle & Equine owners to evaluate existing feeding programs.
  • Recommending and assisting with nutritional programs.
  • Conducting up to 25 farm calls per week to sell Purina products.
  • Developing new prospects and making cold sales calls.
  • Organizing effective educational meetings/events for various clubs and professionals.
