Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field strongly desired.
Candidates with a pending bachelor’s degree or proven sales experience may be considered.
Basic command of making nutritional and feeding recommendations to Cattle and Equine owners.
Understanding of ruminant husbandry, current management practices, and nutritional guidelines.
Strong computer skills, specifically in MS Office and ability to be trained on ration balancing software (HerdSmart), Salesforce, etc.
Strong background in Cattle, Equine, or Lifestyle animals.

Responsibilities:

Calling on mainly Cattle and Equine animal owners to evaluate existing feeding programs and recommend nutritional solutions.
Selling and consulting at the farm gate with the goal of selling Purina products and growing market share, including up to 25 farm calls per week.
Organizing and conducting educational meetings and events for clubs and trainers to enhance Purina's brand image and build store traffic.
