Responsibilities:

• Lead and grow a team of security and software engineers, focusing on their technical growth, career development, and impactful security solutions.
• Drive the strategy and execution of integrating custom security tooling into GitLab's product.
• Manage milestone planning to align with immediate needs and long-term goals.
• Partner with Product teams to shepherd security enhancements from concept through implementation.
• Own and iterate on processes for pilot engineering and integration workflows.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to identify and implement automation opportunities.
• Balance maintaining existing tooling with new enhancements.
• Champion team work and communicate impact to stakeholders.
• Guide contributions to GitLab's broader security strategy.
