Requirements:
  • J.D. or ABA-approved Paralegal Certification (or equivalent degree in Paralegal Studies) required.
  • Minimum two years prior law firm experience as a paralegal or attorney in various practice areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with high integrity.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to team success.
  • In-depth knowledge of legal terminology and defense counsel billing practices.
  • Thorough understanding of litigation process.
  • Advanced deductive reasoning and superior customer service skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform an objective and subjective review of law firm invoices to determine compliance with client’s billing guidelines.
  • Prioritize and self-manage workflow to meet invoice processing standards.
  • Establish and maintain rapport with assigned client(s) and law firms.
  • Communicate and respond to inquiries from external parties.
  • Track and update client authorizations in the company database.
  • Work closely with other departments for accuracy of client data.
