Requirements:
  • Advanced studies in business administration with an emphasis in HR or equivalent experience.
  • Strong working knowledge and experience of Costa Rica's labor law and employee relations.
  • 2 or more years working as HR Generalist/Analyst covering all HR areas.
  • Basic knowledge in Payroll processes.
  • Proven fluency in verbal and written English skills.
  • Skills include attention to detail, task management, customer service, problem solving, teamwork.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools and HR Administration tools.
Responsibilities:
  • Be the owner of the new employee orientation, including delivery and coordination.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for new hires and leaders regarding labor law questions.
  • Conduct essential employee-related investigations.
  • Collaborate with HR manager on escalations.
  • Create and review disciplinary actions and termination letters.
  • Act as a sponsor of recognition programs.
  • Educate new leaders on HR functions.
  • Communicate HR initiatives in writing and presentations.
  • Ensure accurate employee changes through HR systems.
  • Create Ad Hoc reports based on HR metrics.
  • Support employee offboarding processes.
  • Conduct 1-on-1 sessions and meetings with business unit leaders.
