Requirements:
  • Advanced studies in business administration with an emphasis in HR or related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of Costa Rica's labor law and employee relations.
  • 2 or more years working as HR Generalist/Analyst with experience in all HR areas.
  • Basic knowledge in Payroll, CCSS, and INS processes.
  • Proven fluency in verbal and writing English skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, task management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools and HR Administration tools.
Responsibilities:
  • Be the owner of new employee orientation, including delivery, scheduling, and presenter coordination.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for new hires during their first 90 days.
  • Address leaders' labor law questions and issues, benefits, and internal policies.
  • Conduct employee-related investigations such as attendance and performance issues.
  • Create and review disciplinary actions and termination letters.
  • Act as a sponsor of recognition programs.
  • Lead educational processes for new leaders on HR functions.
  • Communicate HR initiatives in writing and through presentations.
  • Create Ad Hoc reports from various HR metrics.
  • Support employee offboarding processes.
