Requirements:
  • Advanced studies in business administration with emphasis in HR or equivalent experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Costa Rica's labor law and employee relations.
  • 2 or more years as HR Generalist/Analyst, with experience in all HR areas.
  • Basic knowledge in Payroll, CCSS, and INS processes.
  • Proven fluency in verbal and writing English skills.
  • Attention to detail, task management, and prioritization skills.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Data analysis and teamwork skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools and HR Administration tools.
Responsibilities:
  • Be the owner of the new employee orientation, including delivery and scheduling.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for new hires during their first 90 days.
  • Address labor law questions, benefits, and internal policy issues for leaders.
  • Conduct employee-related investigations regarding attendance and policy violations.
  • Collaborate with HR manager on escalations and create disciplinary letters.
  • Promote recognition programs and educate new leaders on relevant policies.
  • Communicate HR initiatives and ensure accurate employee changes in systems.
  • Create reports based on HR metrics and support business-specific initiatives.
  • Assist in employee offboarding processes.
  • Engage with business unit leaders through various meetings.
