- Advanced studies in business administration with an emphasis in HR or equivalent experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Costa Rica's labor law and employee relations.
- 2 or more years of experience as an HR Generalist/Analyst with proven skills in various HR areas.
- Basic understanding of payroll, CCSS, and INS processes.
- Fluency in verbal and written English.
- Skills required include attention to detail, task management, self-initiative, customer service, problem solving, and data analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and HR administration tools.
- Be the owner of the new employee orientation, ensuring alignment with local and corporate needs.
- Serve as the first point of contact for new hires during their first 90 days.
- Address labor law questions and provide benefits guidance to leaders.
- Conduct employee-related investigations on various issues.
- Create safe spaces for employee feedback and concerns.
- Collaborate with HR manager on escalations from management.
- Review disciplinary actions and termination letters.
- Promote recognition programs and educate new leaders on HR functions.
- Communicate HR initiatives in writing and meetings.
- Ensure accurate employee changes through HR systems.
- Analyze HR metrics and support initiatives to improve them.
- Assist with employee offboarding, including asset recollection.
