Requirements:
  • Positive, solution-oriented with a strong interest in video games and game development.
  • Experienced in key frame and motion capture animation.
  • Technical understanding of animation tools, pipelines, and technical systems.
  • Experience using Maya.
  • Strong knowledge of animation principles and application to enhance gameplay.
  • Experience with various character types, from humans to multi-limbed creatures.
  • Ability to balance creative and production requirements.
  • Self-directed and motivated.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Animation Lead, Gameplay Designers, Rigging Artists, Engineers, and the animation team to establish animation quality and style.
  • Animate enemies, creatures, and player characters from initial blocking to completion, focusing on achieving the best gameplay feel.
  • Influence the development of animation workflows, tools, and pipelines.
  • Create fluid and responsive animations.
  • Implement, troubleshoot, and debug animation systems.
