Requirements:
- 5-8 years of field sales experience, preferably in software or SaaS.
- 3-5 years of experience in new logo closing in a direct selling capacity.
- Experience closing strategic new logo accounts with over 1 billion in revenue.
- Familiarity with multi-product selling environments.
- Proven ability to build trust with senior leaders.
- Highly organized with excellent follow-up skills.
- Understanding of back office challenges within organizations.
- Previous sales methodology training such as MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger Sale.
Responsibilities:
- Focus on value selling to highlight PagerDuty's unique benefits.
- Understand stakeholders' challenges and communicate strategic outcomes.
- Align use cases with product offerings and ensure complete buyer satisfaction.
- Establish genuine connections and negotiate positive outcomes.
- Prepare and follow up diligently to maintain information accuracy.
- Map out territory and prioritize account targets strategically.
- Leverage platforms for prospecting and develop relationships at the executive level.
