Requirements:
  • 5+ years of quota-carrying enterprise software or technology sales in a New Business role
  • Enterprise SaaS experience within a fast-paced/high-growth business
  • Demonstrable experience in strategic selling: strategy, relationship and organization mapping
  • Native German speaker fluent in English
  • Experience leveraging Business Development Representatives
  • Proven ability to generate pipeline in DACH territories
  • Consistent track record of exceeding quota (top 10% of your company) in past positions
  • Demonstrated an upwards trajectory of performance against individual direct sales quotas of >$1M+
  • Sales Methodology training and strong customer references preferred
  • Experienced in account analysis methodologies such as MEDDPICC preferred
  • A bachelor’s or university degree preferred but not required
  • Experience with the content management industry is a big plus
  • MACH tech stack experience is also a big plus
  • Some travel is exciting to you
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for your territory to achieve revenue targets and expand our customer base
  • Initiate meaningful conversations to understand customer needs and pain points and tailor solutions accordingly
  • Work closely with the Business Development Representative to find and develop new opportunities
  • Leverage Contentstack Partners to discover and run co-sell opportunities
  • Qualify and drive opportunities using MEDDPICC
  • Lead negotiations and contract discussions, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Work closely with sales-engineering and cross-functional teams to develop and present compelling proposals that address customers’ needs
  • Stay ahead on market trends, industry shifts, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies
  • Utilize insights to position Contentstack as a solution provider that has unique value
  • Monitor and analyze sales metrics, forecasts, and performance data to assess progress and make data-driven decisions
  • Keep CRM up to date and provide regular updates to management on sales performance, strategies, and market insights
