Workday Extend Architect

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of Workday experience, with a focus on architecture, integration, or development.
• 2+ years of experience developing applications using Workday Extend.
• Strong expertise in Workday HCM, Financials, or related Workday modules.
• Proven experience designing and implementing scalable cloud-based applications.
• Deep understanding of Workday’s APIs, data models, and security protocols.
• Experience with web services, REST, and SOAP APIs.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, XSLT, and Workday-specific languages like Workday Studio and EIBs.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and architecture of custom applications using Workday Extend, including integration with Workday's core functionality.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document requirements, translating them into technical specifications and design blueprints.
• Develop and implement scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions within the Workday ecosystem.
• Provide thought leadership on best practices and architecture design, ensuring solutions align with Workday’s guidelines and standards.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of custom applications.
• Lead code reviews, provide technical guidance, and ensure that development standards are adhered to.
• Stay updated with new Workday Extend features, product enhancements, and industry trends.
• Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and ongoing enhancements for custom applications.
• Mentor junior developers and architects, fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team.
