Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Ten years claims adjusting experience, including at least four years of claims quality audit experience.
  • Insurance designations preferred.
  • Superior knowledge of claims handling theory and practice.
  • Good knowledge of insurance contracts, coverage, practices, and procedures.
  • Advanced analytical abilities and good judgment regarding coverages and reserving.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversees and maintains the claims quality assurance (QA) program across all lines of business.
  • Sets standards and practices within the QA function, including audit schedules.
  • Leads meetings to discuss QA results with claims teams.
  • Drives efficiency and conducts audits as needed.
  • Provides analysis on QA trends and training needs to upper management.
  • Prepares and distributes audit summary reports.
  • Collaborates with claims teams to plan audits and ensure compliance.
  • Develops KPIs to measure audit results and communicates them transparently.
