Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized law school in Singapore.
• 3 years PQE, preferably in a multinational corporation or international law firm.
• Expertise in corporate and contract law, including drafting and negotiation.
• Experience with cross-border commercial transactions is a strong asset.
• Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in both verbal and written English.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, and to simplify complex legal information.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head of Legal in managing all legal matters within the Group.
• Provide legal advice and support to various departments, including business development, HR, marketing, and finance.
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including cross-border commercial contracts with suppliers, licensing agreements, service agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
• Conduct legal research and provide business stakeholders with advice on a broad spectrum of legal and compliance issues, such as data privacy, intellectual property, platform liability, labor laws, contract and consumer protection laws, and corporate laws.
• Monitor and interpret relevant laws and regulations affecting the Group’s business.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, represent the company in regulatory matters, and keep updated on legislative and regulatory developments, advising on their implications for the Group’s business.
• Support day-to-day corporate governance, including managing corporate resolutions, mandatory filings, and liaising with external parties on KYC matters.
