Decolonizing Wealth Project (DWP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to disrupting systems of capital control and promoting truth, reconciliation, and healing from the effects of colonization. We focus on reparative philanthropy through education, radical giving, and narrative change. Our key strategies involve sector transformation, storytelling & culture, and reparative giving, with a focus on supporting Black and Indigenous communities. Our team is based across the United States, operating in a hybrid model, with a team of 1-10 employees. Our tech stack includes WordPress, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and a Content Delivery Network to power our online presence and manage member communications. We leverage digital platforms for community building and fundraising. Our culture prioritizes collaboration, transparency, and accountability. We offer remote work options for those outside of NYC, promoting a flexible and supportive environment. We are actively growing our team to expand into wealth advisory, tribal land return, youth mental health, and care as a form of repair. Our Liberated Capital donor community is key to our mission, and this role is instrumental in expanding and nurturing this community. If you're passionate about social justice, philanthropy, and community building, we encourage you to apply.
