About Decolonizing Wealth Project
Decolonizing Wealth Project is igniting a global movement grounded in a revolutionary idea: money can be medicine. Founded in 2018, you will join a mission-driven team disrupting existing systems of capital. This organization promotes truth, reconciliation, and healing from the ails of colonization. They offer education, radical reparative giving, and narrative change. You will contribute to transforming wealth into collective wellbeing, particularly for Black and Indigenous communities. DWP has influenced nearly $1 billion in giving. They have also disbursed over $30 million through Liberated Capital, their giving platform. This impact extends to supporting economic solidarity, wellbeing, and earth and climate efforts. You will be part of a small yet mighty team, committed to rebalancing power and resources.
How We Work
You will work in a virtual-first organization, with team members distributed across the United States. They foster a culture of clear communication, transparency, and high performance. You will engage in collaborative work within a fast-paced environment. The full team gathers in person at least twice a year for retreats and strategic planning sessions. Senior Leadership and departments also meet in person as needed. This approach supports strong relationships despite geographical distribution.
