  • Record and categorize transactions in QuickBooks Online and/or Xero.
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accuracy.
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Post payroll journal entries and ensure proper account mapping.
  • Prepare and post adjusting journal entries and record accruals/deferrals.
  • Generate and review financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Maintain fund tracking for nonprofits and support DCAA-compliant accounting.
  • Communicate directly with clients via email and virtual meetings.
