🔍 NonProfit Services and Accounting
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper with advanced proficiency in Xero and QuickBooks Online.
- Strong understanding of NonProfit Accounting including FASB standards.
- Extensive experience with Government Contracting Accounting (DCAA) including compliance standards.
- Experience performing month-end and year-end accounting duties.
- Familiarity with Unanet is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or similar certification preferred.
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
- Utilize Xero and QuickBooks Online to manage all financial transactions ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage bookkeeping for nonprofit clients, including tracking donations and preparing financial statements.
- Ensure DCAA compliance and maintain accurate cost accounting standards.
- Execute complete month-end and year-end close processes and generate financial statements.
- Generate financial reports and conduct reviews for accuracy.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure efficiency in financial matters.
