- Record and categorize transactions in QuickBooks Online and/or Xero.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accuracy.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Post payroll journal entries and ensure proper account mapping.
- Prepare and post adjusting journal entries and record accruals/deferrals.
- Generate and review financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Maintain fund tracking for nonprofits and support DCAA-compliant accounting.
- Communicate directly with clients via email and virtual meetings.
