- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 3-5 years of experience in public accounting or equivalent industry experience
- CPA highly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to quickly learn new accounting software (experience with Sage Intacct is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret technical accounting and tax guidance and apply it to real-world business scenarios
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes and prepare financial statements.
- Reconcile accounts and prepare balance sheet schedules.
- Prepare and oversee journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial adjustments.
- Work directly with external auditors during the annual audit process.
- Assist in the preparation and drafting of financial statements, including footnotes.
- Work closely with FP&A to prepare and submit required financial reports for lenders.
- Ensure compliance with lender reporting requirements.
- Provide necessary documentation for business tax filings with the Controller and external tax advisors.
- Manage and track debt schedules and ensure compliance with loan covenants.
- Identify and implement process improvements for financial functions.
