The Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology Foundation (Foundation) is a nonprofit, tax-exempt foundation created to support, enhance and expand the ability of the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology (Alliance) to conduct cancer clinical research and address important treatment questions through large- scale clinical trials. Through efforts of the Foundation in support of the Alliance, clinical trials and laboratory research are conducted to discover new or improved ways to prevent, treat and cure many types of cancer, including leukemia and lymphoma, and cancers of the breast, prostate, lung and GI tract, and help educate the medical community on methods of cancer diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology Foundation (FDN) is the parent organization for Alliance NCTN Foundation (ANF), Alliance Foundation Trials, LLC (AFT), and Alliance Data Innovation Lab (Data Lab), collectively known as Alliance Foundation Entities.

🔍 Cancer clinical research

  • Bachelor’s degree required, with a preference for a paralegal certificate, JD, or advanced degree.
  • 1-2 years of experience drafting and negotiating contracts is preferred.
  • Preferred in-depth understanding of the clinical trial process.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to juggle multiple projects.
  • Experience working independently and within a team.
  • Proficiency in Office and document management.

  • Review and negotiate contracts for clinical trial-related services including various agreements.
  • Use contract templates and draft amendments and agreements where appropriate.
  • Ensure internal buy-in and approval of relationship and risk terms.
  • Maintain accurate and concise communications with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop as a subject matter expert for certain contractual issues.
  • Establish strong working relationships with relevant teams and maintain contract folders.
