- Previous experience as a founder or in a startup highly preferred.

- Proven track record of building and scaling partnerships with large retailers, particularly within the grocery, pharmacy, value, or fitness sectors.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

- Develop and Close New Retail Partners: Lead efforts to build and scale partnerships with retailers across the grocery, pharmacy, value, and fitness categories, ensuring national coverage and growth.
- Facilitate Seamless Onboarding: Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Implementation, Legal, etc.) to ensure a smooth onboarding process for retailers and a positive ongoing relationship.
- Develop Strategic CPG Partnerships: Cultivate and manage relationships with CPG brands, particularly in the health and wellness space, to expand our product offerings and enhance brand visibility within our network.
- Forge Relationships with POS Technology Providers: Drive partnerships with POS technology companies to streamline integration and improve retail partner onboarding experiences.
- Support Expansion Strategies: Work to accelerate national market penetration, leveraging your partnerships to expand reach and enhance our position as a leader in the directed spend network.
- Negotiation & Deal Structuring: Lead negotiations with new and existing partners, ensuring that terms align with business objectives and provide value to both parties.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, engineering, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution and alignment across various business functions.
- Industry Insights: Keep up with trends in retail, POS technology, and CPG to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
