- Associate degree in electronics, engineering, or a related discipline or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of field service engineer/technician experience with complex electro-mechanical devices.
- Proven ability to diagnose problems using sophisticated software and hardware.
- Proficient in using test equipment and hand tools, including oscilloscopes and multimeters.
- Good computer skills with knowledge of MS Windows, Linux, and control systems networking.
- Able to travel up to 75% of the time and lift 50 lbs.
- A valid driverβs license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to work in confined areas with high-energy environments.
- Willingness to be on-call and work flexible hours.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through effective service activities.
- Install, maintain, repair, upgrade, and test equipment in a clinical environment.
- Provide planned maintenance in accordance with published procedures.
- Maintain performance and service records on equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment with minimal support.
- Handle field service calls and issues in a timely manner.
- Communicate with customers and account executives to ensure satisfaction.
- Submit service-related paperwork accurately and timely.
- Manage stock and maintain tools in compliance.
- Provide feedback to Engineering for service improvements.
