Requirements:
  • Proven work experience as a Patient Service Representative or similar role.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and insurance processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Amenable to work in a graveyard shift (at any US time zone).
  • Experience in Radiology/Imaging is a MUST.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Experience in RIS (Radiology Information System) is a BONUS.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with inquiries and appointments.
  • Answer inbound calls and respond to patient queries in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Manage the intake of members or the admission/discharge information post notification.
  • Handle resolution/inquiries from members and/or providers.
  • Provide and handle eligibility, benefits of coverage, claims, and prior authorization.
  • Provide support and assistance to patients throughout their healthcare journey.
  • Schedule and reschedule appointments accurately.
  • Follow up with patients regarding payment and insurance matters.
  • Maintain patient records and confidentiality.
