Requirements:
  • Requires a bachelor's degree.
  • Requires ten (10+) years of Sales experience and five (5+) years of Sales management.
  • Preferable experience with Enterprise customers in Networking Environment.
  • Past management experience with high growth companies and ability to manage remotely.
  • Prior management experience required, including hiring, coaching, counseling, writing employee reviews, and training.
  • Proven track record of working with and coordinating activities with VARs and System Integrators.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and Marketo.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and delegate assignments.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a Sales team and leadership in the public sector and enterprise markets.
  • Effectively respond, communicate with, and present information to co-workers, customers, clients, and the general public.
  • Have exceptional social skills and the ability to get along well with others.
  • Engage and influence executives within companies in the target market.
  • Handle, adapt, and lead through stressful situations.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue goals as assigned.
  • Proactively prospect into strategic accounts within a defined region and manage the sales pipeline.
  • Lead and coordinate the activities of assigned Field Sales Directors, Territory Managers, Inside Sales Representatives, and Sales Engineers.
  • Influence the Marketing team with demand generation campaigns.
  • Build, maintain, and expand sales training programs for the assigned team.
  • Demonstrate essential skills related to effectively leading a sales team.
  • Prioritize and adjust to the changing demands of the position.
  • Understand and explain the company's technology solutions to partners and customers.
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
