Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be based in the U.S. with a U.S. mailing address.
• Knowledge of and experience in reading best practices aligned to the science of reading.
• Ability to build meaningful connections with students.
• Creativity and flexibility to meet students' needs.
• Experience teaching/tutoring K-8 students preferred.
• Access to a computer, webcam, and reliable high-speed internet connection.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual tutoring sessions using the BookNook platform.
• Manage student behavior and engagement throughout sessions.
• Create a safe, respectful learning environment.
• Maintain positive relationships with students.
• Document observations for each session in the session notes.
