Requirements:

• More than 4 years of experience in a software engineering role, within a product or engineering-led team.
• Strong ability to break down business requirements into technical requirements, and communicate technical tradeoffs.
• Experience working and/or leading technical scrum teams.
• Confident in our Web2 technology stack: NextJS, Tailwind (Shacdn), Typescript, Postgres, MongoDB, Redis, NestJS.
• Confident in system and architecture design e.g. event-driven architectures, three-tier architecture, pub/sub, MVC, caching and distributed systems.
• Comfortable in a serverless and microservice architecture.
• Comfortable with setting up, maintaining and monitoring cloud infrastructure (e.g. Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerisation (e.g. docker).
• Plus Points: Familiar with Solidity and EVM, Familiar with gaming development tools e.g. unity, aws lumberyard.

Responsibilities:

• As a senior software engineer, you will be working closely with a diverse team of software engineers, game developers, designers, and product managers to develop the web3 application layer that powers our ecosystem.
• These include, but are not limited to: Building our IP through Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) and Fungible Tokens (FTs), Creating engaging and innovative technology products to engage and support our Pixelmon community, Developing the web3 integration layer between our upcoming games and NFTs.
