Pricing Actuary

Requirements:

• Experience in pricing Commercial Auto or Fleet insurance lines.
• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
• Associate or Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS or FCAS), or equivalent designation.
• Proficiency in actuarial tools and software such as Excel, R, Python, SAS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Familiarity with insurance regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine strategic pricing models for various insurance products.
• Analyze large datasets for trends and recommendations on pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with underwriting, product development, and finance teams.
• Monitor and analyze existing product performance for pricing adjustments.
• Prepare executive-level pricing reports and insights.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Support the development and filing of rate changes with regulatory bodies.
